We have 22 younger Pre-school children and 4 Educators including an Early Childhood Teacher within the Bluebell Program

In the Bluebells Program we are committed to providing an enriching and developmentally appropriate preschool experience for children aged 3 to 4 years. Our Younger Preschool Program is specifically designed to meet the educational and developmental needs of young learners. We are also a partner provider of the ACT Government 3 Year Old Pre-School program.

With an experienced Early Childhood Teacher leading the program, we provide a balanced approach to learning that fosters creativity, cognitive growth, social skills, and emotional development in a supportive and engaging environment.

Play-Based Learning and Intentional Teaching:

At this stage, children learn best through play. We integrate play-based learning and intentional teaching into everything we do, offering a wide range of hands-on experiences that build important skills. Whether it’s imaginative play, problem-solving activities, or sensory exploration, we provide a stimulating environment where your child can learn through active engagement and fun!

Social & Emotional Development:

Children in our Younger Preschool Program are learning how to navigate social relationships and manage their emotions. We help children develop strong social skills such as sharing, taking turns, and expressing themselves. Teachers provide guidance on conflict resolution and foster an environment of kindness, empathy, and respect.

Early Literacy & Language Skills:

Our program focuses on language development through storytelling, rhymes, songs, and interactive reading. By promoting early literacy skills, we help children build vocabulary, understand the basics of reading and writing, and encourage a lifelong love of books.

Cognitive & Problem-Solving Skills:

Through guided activities and exploration, children learn to ask questions, solve problems, and make decisions. Activities like puzzles, building blocks, and simple scientific experiments promote critical thinking and lay the foundation for later learning in numeracy and literacy.

Physical Development:

Our Younger Preschool Program also includes activities that promote fine and gross motor skills. Whether it’s drawing and cutting with scissors, dancing, running, or building with blocks, we provide a balanced approach to developing both large and small muscle coordination.

School Readiness:

While our program is grounded in play, we also prepare children for the transition to formal schooling by introducing concepts like routines, following directions, and working with others. Children are encouraged to practice skills that will support their school journey, such as listening, cooperating, and staying engaged in group activities.
